Facilities:

 

WPBC is a wilderness camp that has electricity powered by a generator that operates during the day-evening hours of camp. When campers go to bed the power goes out...please note our phone still works without power; but there may not be anyone near it to answer.

 

Dinning hall - with commercial kitchen and large dinning area

 

Modern wash-house - separated for girls and guys each side has 4 toilets and 4 individual shower stalls and plenty of sinks..there are electrical outlets for those who choose to bring hairdryers

 

7 Cabins- each house 8-9 campers and 2 counselors in bunk-style beds, each cabin also has a wood burning stove for warmth at night, and each cabin is equipped with one electrical light - which works when the generator is operating.  There are no electrical outlets in the cabins; and we ask that you do not bring any electronics with you.

 

Arts/Crafts Shack - a building that houses our arts and crafts supplies and space for working on arts and crafts, also houses our drama props and practice areas.

 

Beach/Lakefront - Equipped with PFD's, canoes, kayaks, paddles, water toys, volleyball net, fire pit, benches, and dock.....only to be used when lifeguard is present.

 

Playing field - the camp has an open area with marsh grass that gets mowed and we use this for our games....it also has a mud pit in the middle of the field that is a great source of fun and dirty clothes - please dress appropriately
